RDLA families, September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. In honor of our very own, Annie Cordero (3rd grade), who is a leukemia survivor, we are taking part in a group fundraiser to the Big Love Cancer Organization. Our goal as a school is to raise $500. All students, families, and staff are invited to participate.
When we make our goal, will be awarded a plaque to hang for our contribution, and all students and staff will have a pajama party!
Donation QR code and steps are listed on the attached flyer. Selecting "other" allows you to contribute a minimum of $5. Don't forget to wear gold/yellow every Monday in September!
Fresh fruit, milk, whole grains, protein-rich options - Don't skip the most important meal of the day!

We know many Edgewood ISD families are dealing with power outages and storm damage. As our community recovers, we want families to know that all Edgewood ISD schools will be OPEN Monday, August 31, and will operate on a normal schedule.
Meals will be served as usual. Counselors will be available for students who may need additional support. If you need assistance by the City of San Antonio, call 3-1-1.
Please continue to take care of yourselves and one another as our community recovers. We look forward to welcoming our students back to school Monday.

Mientras nuestra comunidad continúa recuperándose, queremos informarles que todas las escuelas de Edgewood ISD estarán ABIERTAS el lunes 31 de agosto y operarán en su horario normal.
